Project Willpower Transformation Time!

willpower transformation

It’s been a while since I gave you an update on Project Willpower and now it’s transformation time – it’s come to an end. Well, not technically an end, as willpower is something I will practice for the rest of my life, but I’m off to Croatia tomorrow and this was my goal date.

For those of you reading this like ‘what the heck is Project Willpower?!’, give my previous posts a read – Project Willpower Start & Project Willpower Update 1.

It’s been an up and down few weeks if I’m totally honest and even though I haven’t seen a physical change, this was more about a journey of self discovery. During these weeks, I’ve had a holiday, a family BBQ and many meals out with friends – things that always make challenges like these a little tough.

I’ve learned a lot; one of the main things was learning the difference of wanting a treat because I knew it would make me happy and just having a treat for the sake of it. Finding the balance is what it’s all been about. I don’t think I’ve entirely found it yet, as there have been quite a few days where I’ve just eaten the earth, BUT there have been some really great days when I’ve been able to look at that bowl of granola or chocolate bar, wait 20 minutes and then decide if I still want it. It’s a good trick – I recommend it!

I’ve been training hard as always, making time for at least one rest day a week. On my rest days I tend to either walk or do some soothing yoga, so I’m always moving my body, staying active. I don’t do all this working out as a punishment or because I feel like I have to, I do it because I love it.

Now I’m ready for a holiday where I’ll continue my challenge, but with the addition of a few more ice creams!

Thank you for reading along with my little journey, hopefully it’s been interesting and maybe even inspired you a little bit too!

Love, Cat x
