I’ve been wanting to write this post for over a week now, but have been waiting for a free hour in my life when I could get some great shots for it (also waiting for time with Rob aka my photographer!). BUT, as I’m a bit of a muppet sometimes, I left the crop top I wanted to shoot at work in London and was supposed to be shooting it tomorrow morning. In light of my clumsiness I’ve just decided to tell you about Every Second Counts now and you’ll just have to deal with my selfies! – SORRY.
The good thing is that the reason the crop is at work is because I love it, so have been wearing it for workouts this week!
Every Second Counts Game Changer Capri Leggings & Crop
Every Second Counts launched earlier this year and is already making waves in the fitness fashion circles. You’d expect no less, seeing as the brains and beauty behind it is Sally Dixon, an ex magazine fashion director. When you see the stunning lookbook images you’ll understand why Sally’s 17 years of experience working on fashion shoots is handy.
So far I’ve trialled my Game Changer crop (£41) and capri leggings (£70) in a flow yoga class, in an HIIT weights class and my own resistance training and both items worked perfectly for all activities.
I know this is a tiny thing to be excited about, but I LOVE that the leggings have a zip pocket. I think sometimes brands focus too much on the fashion and not enough on the functionality of the clothes – who says you don’t need a pocket for your locker key when you go to a yoga class?! So far I’ve found that you apparently only need a zip pocket if you go running, which is just frustrating.

The fabrics are high is elasticity, so you feel comfortably tucked in but can also get a full range of movement – perfect for some downward facing dog or crow poses. I’m about 5’7″ and the leggings were the perfect fit for me in terms of leg length (3/4) and waist height – having the right amount of cover for any workout where bending and stretching is essential!
Every Second Counts isn’t just a clothing brand, they believe in the lifestyle that comes with it – being happy, healthy and active. I love seeing the passion behind a brand like this and can’t wait to see the new collection later this year.
Now…. I think I definitely need to order the Game Changer set in pink and this time I promise to get some better photos!
